The number of sessions depends on the severity of the case. The first session is usually an introductory and an icebreaker session, where we make you feel comfortable and secure enough to speak with ease about your issues. Therefore, it will take more than one session to solve your conflicts.
Counselors are trained to provide help and support without judgement on your personal problems. They are unbiased and neutral in their approach, something which a loved one cannot provide. Their objectivity is the reason for effective counselling
The age of the therapist has no bearing on his/her professional competence. The education, training and experience that they undergo gives them the ability to provide therapy.
If you are unhappy about the counselling that you receive, it is very important that you talk to your counselor regarding the issue that you are having.
A therapeutic relationship is different by design. It is an important difference in that professional boundaries are in place and should remain that way. The intent is to ensure that what happens is for the client's benefit.

Constant arguments
It helps couples recognize and resolve conflicts in new ways
It improves communication between couples
It provides a neutral territory for couples to work through their issues in a safe and secure environment
Couples can decide to rebuild their relationship or clarify the reasons for why they need to separate
The process of counselling is effective but depends on the severity of the case and the amount of effort the couple takes to rebuild the relationship. Therefore, the conflicts in your marriage will end if you both are committed to rebuild your relationship and work through these issues together.
counselling helps with rebuilding a relationship but also gives clarity to couples who want to get separated. So counselling will give you and your partner some clarity on what your next step will be in the relationship. With one person also we can try to make relationships work.

Sexual concerns are a major part of a marital relationship and hence are important to share.
Pre-marital counselling is a method of preventative counselling where the couple works through any existing issues before they enter into marriage and also acquires tools to recognize and resolve conflicts with ease. This is a sensitive period where couples may not be comfortable enough to discuss certain topics such as:
Finances
Affection & Sex
Desire to have children
Family relationships
Decision making

Religion
Pre marital counselling gives couples a neutral ground to discuss such sensitive topics without having major conflicts.
